Welcome to Tuitora. By accessing or using our website, platform, or services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before using the Platform.

1. Definitions

Tuitora refers to the platform operated under the name Tuitora. Tutor refers to individuals offering tuition services through the Platform. Student refers to learners or parents or guardians engaging tutors via the Platform. User refers collectively to Tutors and Students.

2. Platform Role

Tuitora acts solely as a facilitation platform that connects Tutors and Students. Tuitora does not employ tutors, provide tuition services, or guarantee academic outcomes.

3. Eligibility

Users must provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration. Tutors must ensure they are legally eligible to provide tuition services in Malaysia. Parents or guardians must register on behalf of minors.

4. Tutor Responsibilities

Tutors agree to maintain accurate profiles, qualifications, and subject offerings. Tutors must conduct lessons professionally, ethically, and safely. Tutors are responsible for setting and managing their own fees, schedules, and teaching methods, and for complying with all applicable laws and regulations.

5. Student Responsibilities

Students and parents must communicate clearly regarding learning needs and expectations. Agreed lesson schedules and payment terms must be honoured. All interactions with tutors must remain respectful and appropriate.

6. Payments

All tuition fees are agreed directly between Tutors and Students. Tuitora does not take commission from tutors and does not manage or guarantee payments. Any payment disputes remain solely between the involved parties.

7. Platform Access and Availability

Tuitora strives to provide continuous access to the Platform but does not guarantee uninterrupted service. Temporary suspension may occur due to maintenance, system upgrades, or security requirements.

8. Account Suspension or Termination

Tuitora reserves the right to suspend or terminate user accounts in cases of false information, violation of these Terms, misconduct, abuse, or unlawful activity.

9. Limitation of Liability

Tuitora is not liable for tutor performance, student academic outcomes, or disputes arising from tuition arrangements. This includes any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

10. Amendments

These Terms and Conditions may be updated periodically. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
